Process to apply for a Singapore Employment Agency License

*** This will assumed that you already got a business entity or a corporate company in Singapore.

Step 1 : To  insert at least one of the following SSIC code in the principle activity

• SSIC 78104 (Employment Agencies which excludes maid agencies)
• SSiC 78105 (Executive Search Agencies)

Step 2: Apply for a IPA(In-Principle-Approval) athttps://licences.business.gov.sg

Step 3: Upon getting the IPA and the letter indicating of the amount of security deposit needed, will have to set aside up to a maximum of $60,000 as a fixed deposit in the bank, which that, apply for a bankers guarantee from the bank using the $60,000 deposits.

*The bankers guarantee must be valid for 3 years and 6 months from the start date of the Security Bond

Step 4: Submit the IPA, Bankers Guarantee documents, BG forms and Security Bond forms to:

• The Employment Agency Licensing Branch
• Foreign Manpower Management Division
• 120 Kim Seng Road Singapore 239436

Step 5: Only upon the EA license is being issue, then the company can operation the business.

Process to Register the Key Appointment Holder in MOM

The Key appointment holder must go through a CEI(KAH) course which takes 40 hours after which there will be a CEI test, only when the person pass the test, then he can be register as a KAH in the company , registration of the personnel can be access via https://licences.business.gov.sg
